Marble (2025)

This piece is autobiographical, primarily examining emotions and psychosomatic sensations. The repetition of patterns going up and down the marble not only serves a design purpose, but a metaphorical one as well; there are things, oftentime fears, that crop up in life and disrupt its continuum over and over again until they get figured out. And still, a love of beautiful colors and bright patterns, and ultimately hope for the future, is sprinkled throughout this marble.
